Problem details:
Customer has Zone Alarm Extreme With Forcefield. The customer states that when he tries to use Internet Explorer 8 with ZoneAlarm enabled, it doesn't work well. Too slow. If the customer disables ZoneAlarm things work fine
Solution details:
Walked the customer through downloading updated versions of zonealarm. Tis sped up regular browsing sessions, but did very little with speeding up in private browsing. The research I did suggests that private sessions do generally run slower, and I Informed the customer as much. However, tried to use webex to do a cleanup to see if that would help further, but all I go was a black screen when I tried to control the customer's computer, despite ending all forcefield/za services. Worked with another expert and the call center to find a solution but was unsuccessful. Customer disconnected.
