Problem details:
Couldn't connect with WebEx. WorkBench locked up too. We both rebooted, he in safe mode with networking. Couldn't uninstall ZA.
Solution details:
I used msconfig to turn off unneccesary services and startups and rebooted again. Attempt to uninstall again successful. Watched him install Norton 360 success.
