Wireless networking problems
Problem details:
customer could not connect to wireless network
Solution details:
This computer had about 8 issues that were stopping it from getting on the network.
First one was that the laptop settings in the bios had to be reverted to default, a known bug in this series of laptops. The second was that the laptop was configured to connect only to an Iphone network, and would not bring up any additional networks. The third, was that the profile for the networks created was public with no discovery, so nothing would work except local connections.
Then The router was not configured correctly. Fixed all. Connected to wireless net. Tested good. Case Closed.
