Virus infection
Problem details:
Customer had a virus infection with voice pop-ups and his security programs were being disabled
Solution details:
I ran Malwarebytes in Safe Mode, found Vundo, removed 86 infected files. Restarted, re-ran Malwarebytes, found no infections, and then I ran VundoFix which also turned up clean. I then cleared up everything, updated IE to IE 8, and recommended the customer pay for Norton Internet Security as he had no paid version of any antivirus software running.
