Virus Infection
Problem details:
Customer started noticing very odd behavior after downloading attached photos from an email.
Solution details:
The photos had a rogue variant attached to them, and that in turn brought in the CoolWebSearch spyware set, and a couple of generic Trojans. All infections were removed, updates were ran, and SFC verified system files. I then helped the customer move and organize the photos brought in, and removed the ones associated with the viruses.
