VISTA DOESN¿T PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS
Problem details:
Customer complains that they cannot use an application after upgrading to Windows Vista
Solution details:
1) Determined what program the client was attempting to install and run .
2) Check that application against the Microsoft list of ¿Work with Vista¿ applications.
3) Attempt to locate a path that will allow the program to work with Vista, this may not be available for all software.
4) If possible, install patch and attempt to run the application again.
5) Change that programs Compatibility settings by running the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit
