Severe Virus and Rogue infection
Problem details:
Customer had security center rogue pop-ups and rootkit infections
Solution details:
I started up customer's PC in safe mode and rooted out all viruses and removed them. I upgraded his version of Ad-Aware from SE to the newest. The customer also had no paid protection, so I made a few recommendations and made him fully aware that it was imperative to get some active scanning ASAP. Otherwise, his system is fully cleaned up.
