SLOW COMPUTER ADVANCED TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem details:
Customer complains that computer runs slow and has error messages.
Solution details:
1)Use msinfo to obtain hardware and software specifications
2) check for conflicts in device manager
3) run scan disk
4) use msconfig to change the background startup programs
5) clear the windows prefetch directory C:/Windows/Prefetch
6) run disk defragmenter
7) check for overheating
