Repair Installation - Windows XP
Problem details:
After a recent virus removal service, customer's system is unstable and crashes. After trying to reinstall the offending programs, the problem persists
Solution details:
I walked the customer through running a repair installation of Windows XP, reconnected to customer's PC to resolve program conflicts by reinstalling SP3 and IE 8. I also made sure all of his programs launched ok and that his auto updates were configured. After testing both of his antivirus programs for functionality, I determined his system is in good shape.
