Pidgin Instant Messenger Installation Help
Problem details:
Customer was using a Windows XP computer and needed help installing and configuring Pidgin, the open source Instant Messenger (IM) client.
Solution details:
Customer wanted to complete the session via text chat due to his low bandwidth allocation. Guided the customer to Pidgin's website, and instructed the customer to download and install the application. After installing the application, the customer insisted that he knew how to set it up. Gave him my contact information in case future problems arose.
