Battery Maximization and Effiency
Problem details:
Customer was using a Dell Mini Inspiron netbook computer. Customer was interested in maximizing the overall battery life of his computer when mobile. Customer said that the advertisement said that the life span was about 3 hrs, but only got about 1.5 hrs out of it. Customer was using a Windows XP computer.
Solution details:
Connected to the customer's computer. Recommended that he close out of several high performance applications when mobile, such as Skype, DivX, and several other applications that were taking up a chunk of processing power. Installed LocalCooling to manage the power settings and configuration.
