BSOD after installing UVerse
Problem details:
Customer had Uverse from AT&T installed, and it started giving him blue screens
Solution details:
Customer was running IE6 and had some malware present on his machine. I removed all malware and upgraded to IE 8, setup Windows updates, showed the customer how to run them, instructed him to do so until they were completely up to date, and also instructed him to follow up with me if the error comes back.
