Adaware Installation
Problem details:
User complained of multiple browser add pop ups and desktop icons not approved of by the user. System was infected with the 'Antivirus 2010' virus which was prohibiting any administrative functions on his system.
Solution details:
Removed the 'Antivirus 2010' virus, installed the Adaware AE product and performed necessary scan and clean up of any remaining adware/malware.
