Ad-aware free anniversary edition not running after install, splash screen then it disappears
Problem details:
Ad-aware not running after install. Customer installed the latest version of Ad-aware free edition and restarted. When starting the program the splash screen displays and then disappears and the program never opens.
Solution details:
Reinstalled Ad-aware free anniversary edition. Restarted. Checked Services for Lavasoft ad-aware service which was set to disabled. Set to automatic and started service. Ad-aware started successfully
