Ad-Aware Uninstallation Problems
Problem details:
Customer connected explaining that they could not uninstall an older version of Ad-Aware so they could install the newer version.
Solution details:
I logged onto their computer and used the Revo Uninstaller tool to fully uninstall the old Ad-Aware software. From there, I rebooted the computer and then installed the newest version of Ad-Aware, and had it check for updates before rebooting again. After that, I reconnected to make sure everything was working properly and performed a smart scan on their computer.
